The essence of escudella, brought to its purest form: without broth, yet full of soul. Carefully selected meats, chickpeas and vegetables slow-cooked to deliver an authentic and comforting flavour.
To launch this pasta we had many discussions... We created it because we were undecided about what we like more... pesto? or tomato sauce? We have added both sauces to this pasta and it is delicious!
Tonkatsu chicken is one of our favourites, it is a Japanese dish of pan fried chicken with an Asian sauce. As side dish, stir-fried rice and a bit of mayonnaise.
We use the traditional recipe, the one we have always used. A fresh, summery starter that goes down very well (light and soft version). It also comes with crunchy croutons in a separate bag.
