Along with the tzatziki sauce, the Greek moussaka is probably one of the most traditional dishes in Greece. It bears some resemblance to lasagna but uses layers of eggplant instead of pasta.

Ingredients: eggplant, mozzarella, oregano, ragù (veal, pork, onion, carrot, red wine and tomato sauce), béchamel (milk, flour and butter), tomato sauce, sugar, basil, chives, salt , black pepper and high oleic oil.
