Baos are typical Taiwanese street food buns that are steamed and that we find irresistible. They can be filled with whatever you want, although it is typical to fill them with Pulled Pork. The meat is prepared at low temperature for almost 8 hours, a sauce is added with soy, rice vinegar, ginger and many spices.... It is very tender and shredded to fill the bao bread. We will also add BBQ sauce. They are to die for and even more if you heat them for 15 seconds in the microwave before eating them.
Ingredients: bao, pulled pork (onion, garlic, cumin, mustard, white vinegar, sweet paprika, hot paprika, crushed tomato, ketchup, Perrins sauce, sugar), emmental cheese, barbecue sauce, seeds, sesame seeds, olive oil and salt.
