Crema Catalana

It is a very typical dessert of Catalan and European cuisine in general. It consists of a pastry cream with an egg yolk base that is usually covered with a layer of caramelized sugar to provide a crunchy contrast. 

Ingredients: Whole milk, egg yolk, sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon.
